November 12, 2009 - We had our first day of the boutique at Leeza's Place, "Circle of Care," today. It was a wonderful experience to meet some of the caregivers and their loved ones that the Circle of Care helps. The boutique goes through tomorrow, (11/13) and helps a great cause, if you are in the area: 5000 Van Nuys Blvd., Sherman Oaks, California. Hours: 11:00am to 3:00pm. Below is my new piece, "Storm Rising," which can be seen at Handmade Galleries, Sherman Oaks, CA. I love the central Marquis in this piece: it's an unusual dark striated Butter Jade.
November 1, 2009 - How time flies!!! Autumn is well underway, and I have always enjoyed working in the Autumn tones. I'm also working a lot more with chain, in Gold Fill and Sterling. Photos to come soon.

July 1, 2009 - Summer is here!! A recent elaborate piece of mine has the full spectrum of colors in natural stone, and is quite unique! It was fun making this one, and I truly hope it will be enjoyed by whoever who buys it.
May 15,2009 - My latest piece, "Sunflowers," was challenging and great fun. I thought I'd take a few photos of the work in progress to document the design changes I made. The piece went through about six evolutions before taking its final form. Here's a peek at my studio when it's humming...
5/7/09 - I flew my writer's flag this month. It started with a hike in the local mountains where last year's fires burned. Thought I would write an e-mail to my friends about it, but submitted it to the Daily News instead, and was published! 4/5/09 - Hello to the gorgeous pastels of Spring! Isn't it amazing that we can get this beautiful palette of colored stones from the earth? None of these stones has been dyed, or even treated, to enhance the color. This piece reminds me of of basket of Easter Eggs!

3/14/09: Spring is almost here! It's been fun working in the March Birthstones and the many hues of Green stones which occur naturally. I've incorporated Celtic knots in some of these pieces, which makes them perfect for St. Patrick's Day!

2/19/09: This is the second piece I've created with Lepidolite, in its rough form, which is a mica. It's incredibly lustrous and eye catching! Wendy has the first piece, and gets lots of comments. Everyone generally loves the combination of the aquas with the lavendars: it seems soothing and restful.
