Diane Nelson Gold is a jewelry artist and fine art landscape painter who brings an abiding love of the earth to her, one-of-a-kind, natural stone jewelry designs, and to all her creations.
A third generation Southern California native, Diane grew up in the rural outskirts of Los Angeles, developing a deep appreciation for the natural rhythms and forms of her foothill surroundings. She earned her Bachelor of Arts - Fine Art, Studio degree, from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and has been most drawn to subjects from nature, her whole life, capturing these in the media of oil, watercolor, and acrylic painting, and photography. Her paintings can be seen at her fine art website, dianegoldart.com

Diane's first jewelry designs came in the form of gifts for family and friends, and a passion was born. She finds the process irresistible, working with gorgeous stone elements and creating something beautiful, which will then enhance the beauty of the wearer... It has challenged her growth in the medium, and she continuously seeks diversity in her designs, spending much happy time deciding combinations of stones and other elements. Working with undyed stones delights Diane in many ways. The stones, themselves, are a great inspiration to her, which is why she calls her line:"Stone Inspired Jewelry.”
Diane's favorite stones are those with a "flash," such as Labradorite, Florite, Moonstone and Opal. She used a close-up photo of a piece of Labradorite for the background of the Stone Inspired Jewelry Logo. Labradorite is said be of inspiration to artists.
